Sarei voluta stare con Voi per iniziare "Aspettando Capalbioart-LaParguera" insieme a Sigrid e a tutti quelli che ci hanno creduto a questa nostra piccola avventura!

Sono felice di aver potuto constatare la grossa disponibilità della cultura portoricana verso altri orizzonti e di questo, me ne ha sempre parlato Sigrid, fiera del suo popolo e della sua isola!

Press Conference

The Mayor of Lajas, Hon. Marcos Turin Irizarry, welcomes Capalbioart-LaParguera, represented by its president, Sigrid Llavina, who travelled from Italy for this event announcing the official starting-up of warming events with "Aspettando Capalbioart-LaParguera" at Emporio Peroni and the next August celebration of the Festival, 1-10th.

Among the presents there were, Velda Gonzalez, who represented Puerto RIco Film Commission and its presence in the festival as one of the mayor sponsors, Edwin Torres, Vice- President ofn Public Relationships division of Western Bank, which sponsors one of the categories of the phosphorescent awards, the documentaries on Porta del Sol, Millo Torres, famous portorican singer, who made his the beautiful initiative of the festival, "Regala una Melodia" for collecting instruments and donating them to students of juvenil synphonic orchestras and of public schools, Directors and Professors of Corporation of Musical arts, who will be present with their orchestras inChristmas in August, another event of the festival, Rafael Trells, famous painter of Puerto Rico, and other artists of the Puerto Rican cultural world.
